Maokai Support Build Guide

  1. Guardian

    While within 175 units of an allied champion, you raise your Guard. Allied champions you affect with unit-targeted abilities are also Guarded for 2.5s, irrelevant of distance.
    If you or a Guarded ally would take damage from an enemy champion or monster, you all first gain a shield for 60~150 (based on level) (+20% Guardian's AP) (+10% Guardian's bonus health) as well as 20% bonus movement speed for 1.5s.
    Guardian only goes on cooldown when the shield is triggered.
    The auto-targeted shield from Thresh's Dark Passage has been special-cased to apply Guard, but no other auto-targeted ability will apply the effect. Other targeting types are also excluded.

  2. Unflinching

    Increase your Tenacity and Slow Resistance by 10% for each Summoner Spell on cooldown.
    After casting a Summoner Spell, gain 15% additional Tenacity and Slow Resistance for 10s.

    karena Maokai tidak memiliki skill Direction/Ground-Targeting-Dash Maokai kesulitan untuk meloloskan diri setelah terkena CC, rune ini akan membantu mengurangi durasi CC sehingga Maokai dapat kabur lebih awal.
    (bila anda ahli menghindari skillshots, sebaiknya anda memakai rune Font of Life saja)

  3. Conditioning

    After 10 minutes gain 8 bonus armor and 8 bonus magic resistance and increases your total armor and magic resistance by 5%.

    karena Maokai tidak perlu POT! Self-heal dari Sap Magic & Targon sudah cukup untuk sustain Maokai di Early-Game, selain itu +5% Armor&MR sangat berguna di Late-Game

  4. Overgrowth

    Every 8 monsters or enemy minions that die near you permanently increase your maximum health by 0.2%.
    Range 1400

    durasi fat Sapling, damage Redemption, heal Font of Life & Sap Magic scaling dari Max Health.
    (hati-hati bila lawan build Giant Slayer (Max Health difference) atau Liandry (enemy Current Health), juga pada Champion yang damage skillnya scaling dari Max/Current Health lawan seperti pasifnya Urgot misalnya.)

  5. Manaflow Band

    Your next ability with a mana or energy cost has its mana or energy cost refunded, and restores 8% of your missing mana or 8% of your missing energy.
    Note that this is distinct to reduced mana costs as you still require sufficient mana to cast the spell.
    Cooldown 75s

    spamming Saplings sangat boros Mana, pre-level-10 Maokai setidaknya harus menyisakan 50% Mana untuk full-combo.

  6. Scorch

    Your next ability hit sets champions on fire dealing 20~60 (based on level) bonus magic damage after 1 second.
    Cooldown 20s

    20s cooldown, artinya setiap 2x sapling akan ada bonus minimal 20 Magic Damage, sangat OP di Early-Game, I foresee nerf.
